In addition to what Pete has already stated, I would add that it appears someone used a 1937/38 Philco transformer with integrated octal rectifier tube socket on top to replace the original vertical mounting power transformer, and removed the original 80 rectifier socket.

If I don't forget, I'll try to photograph and post some photos of my Model 66 chassis sometime over the weekend, for comparison.
