This is the front of my Zenith 6-S-321.  I know the front is a photofinish but was wondering what type of wood was being replicated.  The walnut burl is obvious but what is the other type of wood that is being replicated?  The pattern with the vertical lines?

I think that the burl that is being mimicked also could have been an olive burl, the striped stuff could be a copy of Sapele or ribbon mahogany veneer, or quarter sawn French walnut. But with a faux finish some creative license may have been taken on colour and pattern. If it were my set I would try touching it up since it does not look to be in bad shape.
