Zenith 6-S-321 - What Type of Wood is This?

 That cabinet is almost beyond salvaging really, is it worth doing because to my way of thinking sets that had a 100% faux finish were typically low end cheapies? I guess adding the name "Stars and Stripes" along with that magic Brand Z name is good enough for some people, but I really do hate faux finishes when they are overused that way. I'm not sure what camphor burl looks like but olive burl or even a maple burl could look similar to that with a tinted laquer on top. Here is one that someone stripped, pitty to whomever bought the thing that way, especially if they paid that asking price, even if it did not originally have that faux finish on it the one someone put on it still looks like crap:
