Congratulations! (Oh, since these are cabinet questions, I moved this thread to Philco Cabinet Restoration.)
Whoa, let's take things one at a time...
Correct toner: Extra Dark Walnut Ultra Classic (dye) toner on the top, sides, and the top, side, and bottom trim surrounding the front panel. This will allow some of the grain to show on the top and sides. Medium Walnut on the front panel itself.
Chevron (V) cloth to use? Richmond Designs.
Semi-gloss or satin? Neither. The original final finish was gloss. If you really don't like high gloss then use semi-gloss, but I would definitely not recommend satin.
