Is it really shiny gold or is it a little dull?

It is kind of hard to tell. I would prefer no to be to shiny.

Its has a satin look to it, it is not shinny and looks to be a cotton rayon mix which was used for speaker grill cloth as far as I know. It is a nice pattern which could be used on a number of antique radios , that's why I bought it for my stash of cloth. I just thought I could help you in this very difficult time choosing fabric for your radio.
