Eric replacing the mica caps will help, Halli caps do not age well. Just remember this is a basic AA5 with a few extra coils and a band spreader. To me I just like them for doing what they do with so few parts.  My SX-130 will blow the S-120,S38-A,B,C,D,E out the window. Please replace the couplate if you move it just a little it will start to fail. David
