OK everyone. With the help of my son I've got a few photos to post! ( I am terrible with computers. Actually, still rotary phone friendly.)

I took the speaker out. It was only held in by two out of six screws. The last photo of the left side of the cabinet is where I have already carved and glued in a piece of veneer at the back that was broken off. Still have to grain fill and blend it in. As I said earlier, not an original cabinet finish, but not unappealing either. Should look presentable with a little attention. Take care, Gary
