The various incarnations of the 16B are great radios. I have both the cathedral and a 'shouldered' tombstone versions. Now I just need the two 'peaked-top' variants and I'll be all set.

Use a small oil filter gasket. Get an equivalent to a Fram 3387A filter and remove the thick rubber gasket.
It is almost an exact match.
You may need to use glue or epoxy to get the gasket to stay in place.
