So I finally got around to it.someone had recapped the audio section maybe 30 years ago. 2 electrolytics had been replaced in the last 10 years, and one maybe in the 70's.
I rebuilt the dial lamp sockets ( thanks a thousand times over Ron) and fired it up. Dead. Replace the paper caps in the RF section and tried again. Dead. Troubleshoot and find the 330K resistor to the plate of the 7C6 open. Replaced. IT'S ALIVE!!!.
