Weren't you at one time using some Menzerna polishes? Did the Meguiar's Swirl X work out better for you?

Yes, I was using the Menzerna product (Menzerna PG 1000). It gave a shiny gloss finish but it still left fine scratches when viewed from certain angles. Perhaps working up to finer grit polishes with Menzerna would have yielded better results but the Menzerna stuff is expensive. As you can read earlier, the best results I got was hitting it with Novus #2 followed by Meguiar's Swirl X. Perhaps I could have skipped the Novus #2 and gone straight to the Meguiar's Swirl X. I'm not sure.
