They variate caps' arrangement for this one across the versions. Some versions have a dual 0.1uF but the second is shorted once turned on. Weird arrangement.
At any rate...I only worked with my isolation transformer. And even then used the knobs. Yes, true hot chassis sets, with neutral switched and the hot permanently connected (what were they thinking at the time? considering the Old Sparky had been invented, the elephant electrocuted etc.)
