National NC-125
#31

From Junior Member mtmattking.

First, thanks to all who have provided helpful information on my NC125. By cleaning the tube pins I have gotten reception back!

Crowd Sourcing trouble shooting is very valuable in this hobby.

I have taken note of three recent comments on this site are not about old radios and our love of them.

If you folks believe that all old threads be locked down I suggest rather than complaining about my posts searching for help, you reach the Admin team to suggest they create and insert lines of code to freeze threads that are over ‘X’ number of days. This way folks would have to start new threads as they could not post comments on out of date threads.

I will not be reaching out to Admin to create such a code.

Please, if you have nothing to add to assist me in working on my radio…well, let me say your comments have not pierced my heart.

I am sorry if you thought the remarks were intended for you individually. I will bring up your time-lock suggestion to the other directors and look into the possibility of adding just such a feature. Even when working on the same sets, different problems may be addressed. If not in a new thread it could get lost in the shuffle. Please don't mistake attempted guidance for complaining.
