I have done the RF and magnetic tuning alignment. The magnetic tuning really does its job quite well. Had to do three tries before I got the alignment dialed in. I also had to touch up the IF alignment to get it to dial in. Sure is fussy. Unfortunately the new dial will not be going in the radio. The inner hole where the dial fits the drum on the tuning mechanism is too big allowing the dial to shift. The dial is supposed to be held in place by a bump on the drum but it slips past it quite easily.
