I finally bought a new cartridge for my Garrard SL-95. I bought it new in 1968 when I worked at Olson Electronics. After digging that out I discovered that the receiver that I use for my home theater, a Sony 7.1, doesn't have an input for a phono. Then, I dug out an old Yamaha receiver with a phono input. I hooked it up to some small shelf speakers in my shop and I've been listening to all of my records from the '60s. Beatles, Beach Boys, Stones, Kinks, Animals and many more. I just sit and smile. It's great.
