Found a nice clean 40-130
#1

Very clean little 40-130 I found in an antique shop "for display only". Not working, but only 20 bucks.

Good find. Cabinet looks to be in good shape. I would have also grabbed it at that price.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

What is the difference...chassis?

The 40-135 has push buttons for station pre-sets. The 40-130 is strictly a knob twister. There seems to be a nearly infinite number of chassis variations on this cabinet. The speaker openings change a bit, too. I have a nice 40-145 myself.....

I know the pre-sets but what else is different about the chassis? Tube lineup is the same.
