Guys I was just wondering what your most played Philco Radio might be. As for me it would have to be between my 38-116 console and my 37-610 tombstone radios. I can not believe the respose of the 37-610 is for being a 5 tube radio. It pulls in stations from all over. Lets post what our go to and most listened to Philco radios are!

37-116. For now.

I don't have my 37-665B back from restoration but I look forward to the "Philco Sound" in my den next weekend.

Go to would be my 42 345, good sound, fairly sensitive. Not too big to move around.

My 38 690 in our dining room. We play it several times a week for the last 5 years. Terrific sound and best on holidays when I use the transmitter to pipe holiday music to it.
A 38 116 upstairs when working up there and a 116 shouldered tombstone in my office, but that needs repair as it just stopped working.

My 40-160 is my daily driver. It was the first radio I did (rubber wire and all) so I have a fondness for it.

Like my 41-250 log cabin. I am very impressed with the reception. I have a 37-116 done except for the cabinet but my 41-250 is more sensitive and less noise and interference than the 37-116!

It would have to be my 40-185xf console downstairs and upstairs a toss up between my 37-670 and my 1936 610 bullet.

47-1230, I suppose will always be a favorite for me for two reasons...because it was the first radio I restored and refinished and even got the record player working of which parts are pretty much non existant plus it was my fathers which he bought new in 1947. Pretty sentimental to me.

Pre WWII I'll go to my 37-630. Post WWII, I'll go to my 47-1230.

The same 48-482 that is my avatar. It was one of my first restorations and sits on a shelf in my shop and is listened to daily.
