I opened up the oscillograph and noticed two capacitors in the same spot. When I looked at the schematic it said for 25-60 cycles add 8 Mfd. Didn't look at numbers on power transformer, doh! But I see T1 rated at 50-60 cycles and T2 rated at 25-60 cycles. Got this scope off e-bay. Question, can I plug into US household power and still live or did I just get burnt by European ratings. I'm at the office so I only have the schematic in front of me. Thanks.

Your good. If it was designed for 60cy and you where powering it w/25cy that would be a problem.
