42-380 grommets
#1

One day, I'll learn this by myself and I won't have to bug yall all the time. Lol. On the variable capacitor, the 4 grommets that keep it mounted have fallen to pieces. What size are they? Radio daze has some but I do not know which is which.

I'm not sure what size you have on your set but the fellow with the most selection of grommets like that is Ed at http://www.renovatedradios.com/parts.html

I've looked everywhere and still can't find anything

I usually go to Lowes, go to Specialty items drawers, find grommets and measure them against the old ones plus the metal ferrule that goes inside (if present).

So far worked for me just fine.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Well unfortunately these grommets are falling apart and crumbling in my hands so it's really hard to get a good reference

Good Morning, alone with what mike said pick up a set of Orings at your local HF and super glue and have fun. David
