Philco radio ID
#1

The model # in cabinet says 39-6294 but can not fine that model # in the book or gallery. ( what gives?) Looks like 40-120c . Is it a over seas out fit?? I'm going to restore it for my new boss at the Ford body shop where I work now makin some $ again. The bosses grand dad had it when new, needs some TLC. Also will put add in want adds on this forum for a handle and correct knobs.

Fred, I think that 39 number is a part number tag but Chuck or Ron will know for sure.

It is a 40-120C.

The knobs are wrong for that set, those are early 1930s rosettes. See the link above to view a model with the proper knobs.

As Bob said, 39-6294 is a part number, not a model number.

Thanks guys, part # resembled model when looking thru the back cover. I knew the knobs were incorrect,  the correct knobs look like bullet type?. Locating a handel may take some time, I think I may have some knobs, thanks again.
