I am working on a Philco 118 and I can NOT find resistor 76 ( 2900 ohms in parallel with the shadow meter ). Is the resistor possible inside the shadow meter? What is the resistance of the shadow meter winding?
Best Wishes

Don't think it's inside. The coil resistance (depending on the type sm) is somewhere around 800-1500 ohms. Have seen some sets that show a resistor on the diagram but none to be found on the chassis. It might be that the lower resistance coil may not require the resistor, it helps decrease the voltage drop across the coil and will not disable the set if the coil goes open.
