1930's Philco antennas
#1

Has anyone here actually installed one of the 1930's Philco antennas? I'd be very interested to hear about how one performs.

Good question.  I have a few extra and am considering installing one as well.  I understand the height and length would increase short wave reception the most.

Thanks,
Paul

Very nice Paul.

I only have one from 1938 but was wondering as there seems to be a lot of them available. The price seems to be competitive with buying a new long wire antenna and the idea of using a 1930's antenna seems very unique. Especially with a Philco radio   Icon_smile

Wytex do you have a picture of one of these? I don't even know what they look like. I have a 1933 and a 1940 Philco and might be interested in seeing if I can find one or two, but I need to see what I am looking for. Thanks!
