Philco 40-165k

well, hi all! i am an intermidiate collector and just thought id show you my first restoration (done a year ago.) this is also my first radio and the one that got me into radio collecting!
not much needs to be done with this radio, just some veneer touch up and new tubes (for am). i listen to its shortwave almost every day i can!
the radio body itself is fine, just needs a new dial plate (bakelite/catalin one is thinning and very brittle. light is visible through some of the catalin) and needs a new push button and cover for it!
