Are there any thin gauge non-polarized power cords?
#1

I need some for Transoceanic restoration. The power cords are brittle and started shedding insulation.
I need it non-polarized to fit into the battery switch socket plus thin to fit through the chassis phenolic insert.

Here’s a link to 12 ft cord. I cut about 6 ft off of these cords and now I have 2 cords. Just need to add a plug to the section just cut off.

Thanks, I think this is what I need. I won't even cut it if it fits in.

I need about 4 of these right now, most Zeniths I have have their cords dried up.
Their shipping is a bit up there.

Mike I just use cheap ext cords from the home center and file the wide blade down
#6

David, I did file a blade down on my Stromberg AWP8 but in Zeniths the cord has to go through that phenolic piece and the holes there are too small for regular Home Depot cords, it require a thinner gauge or thinner jacketing, else I would use them, as I do for other radios.

The cords from the Surplus Center are 18 awg and use the thinner SPT-1 insulation and non-polarized.

Yes that can be seen from pictures.
I ordered 10pcs.
Thanks, Tucker.
