Philco 610 drawings
#1

Help I can't find a drawing that matches my 610 big bullet radio. I have checked all the usual suspects. Ryders 610, 610b, 610f, 610pf.

This thing has the 4 lug main bias resistor like the 610pf version but there's differences. One it has no phono jack.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

610T?

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

It isn't marked anywhere with a T.
It is a table radio.

It's in the service notes, late run. Ignore the phono stuff.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

Yes it's the 610T. The one with the phono jack is close but not quite right.

Mostly I can fake it but  there's a resistor that is missing on the drawing which I am trying to identify. And I am sure there's more.

Thanks for the help everybody.

So far the late drawing it correct.

Mine does has a mystery resistor at C7 where it connects to the rotory band switch then to ground.

If you go to: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/pagesbymodel...013797.pdf
and read the changes for this radio you will see that a resistor was added from C7 to ground. I just completed my 610t added this resistor and the radio works fine.

Very Good I see it now. It looks like the resistor is to stop clicks and or pops when switching bands.
It's interesting that it says that Philco advised Ryders to make changes to the drawings.

Thanks again
