Philco 90 (1-47 tube output) question
#1

Was electronically replacing the copper electrolytics in my 90 model today. What I mean is that the caps are still there, just not functioning. The radio volume was starting to fade, and I wanted to do this before a real problem occurred.

My question is about the two condensers (#24 and #30) located in metal containers under the chassis. On the schematic I have (nostalgia air) #24 has 4 caps of .1, .15, .25, and 1.0 mFd, and #30 has .25 and 1.0.

1. My 90 has each of the caps with 3 leads, not 4 on #24 and 2 on #30. Any idea where the error is?

2. In any event, there is no listing of where the specific values are located on the schematic. You have 2 caps listed as #30, and 4 listed as #24. But there is no wasy to detirmine which cap is what value.

Never mind, I found the answer in the tech section.
