Philco 39-116?
#1

For some reason, I recall Philco, with their first Mystery wireless remote control sets in late 1938 for 1939, showed this set as a phono-radio.  It was an automatic phonograph with home recording.  I can find nothing to verify this.  if this was not a phono-radio, was there a model from that year that was?

Thank you!

There was a 39-116PCX "Phonograph with Philco" model:

Thank you.  Was there optional home recording?

Thanks again!

As far as I know, Philco did not offer a home recording option until the 1941 season. And then, it only lasted for two years (1941 and 1942 seasons).
