S-7 Speaker rebuild or replace
#1

Hi everybody,

I’ve got a 37-60 with an S-7 speaker that needs help.

The field coil resistance tests well at 1197k ohms.

I’m not sure if I should try to rebuild this one, or seek a replacement. What do the wiser heads here have to say?

Thanks!

As longa s the FC is OK, which it seems to be, I agree with Ron.

And Rich is on the mend and has just done a beautiful job on my 16's 10" speaker.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
