Spec Sheet for 41-280, 285, 287, 290 and 296 Code 121
#1

Came across the factory spec sheet for the 1941 Philco models 41-280, 285, 287, 290, and 296 code 121.

I own a Philco 41-280 that my dad bought back in 1961 at age 12 for only $5 at a used furniture store in Richmond CA (SFO Bay Area). What does “Code 121” stand for?

Here is the link for the factory spec sheets.  Hope this is helpful info for you guys.

Basically code 121 is the # used for the base or 1st run of a models chassis. You may find different code #'s within a given model like a code 121,122,and up. This indicates changes in the circuit sometimes to reference a partial schematic so a whole schematic didn't have to be drawn.
