41-255 faceplate screws
#1

Can anyone tell me what size of screws are used to hold on the faceplate? Are they brass, steel, Philips head? From the one remaining it looks like a very tiny wood screw but I’m not sure it’s original.

Hopefully someone will have one with original screws to help you out but for what its worth...They would have been small wood screws but I don't know the size or the metal. Brass would look nice and complement the brass strip on the bezel.

Thanks. I sort of have the idea they were tiny brass Philips head but I’d like someone to confirm that.

they are small brass Philips screws with a rounded head. At least that's what's in my 41-280. Take care and BE HEALTHY! Gary

I believe they are #2 x 3/8 Brass wood screws with an oval head.  You can get Phillips or slotted head online.  I think the original had Phillips.
