Philco 41-608 changer coupler
#1

I am working on a Philco 41-608 with the gear-driven changer.  The coupling (#35-2220) between the motor assembly and the idler wheel shaft was made of pot metal and is now in 'kit form'.

Is there a source for a ready-made replacement?  Are there any designs available for making a replacement coupler?

Thanks!

Mondial left a thread about remanufacturing this type coupler.

Hi Morzh,

I've searched using Mondial as the user name with various keywords such as 'coupler', 'motor', 'idler', 'phonograph', etc. I have not been able to find the thread you mention. Can you suggest better keywords with which to search, or another way to find that thread?

Thanks!

Different years but the same idea.

Thanks, Morzh.

That solves the issue of the rubber pieces. Now, I need to find a way to replicate the pot metal pieces.

3D-printing...short of machining, of course.
Or molding.
