Not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this, but I'm looking for cosmetic resto parts for my 37-116 Deluxe - items like speaker grill fabric, new dial and some transfer lettering (vol, bass ,etc). I placed an order with Radio Daze almost 2 months ago. Have heard nothing - no one answers their phone or returns emails - I leave messages and still nothing. Are they even open anymore? Is there a better place to get these items?
Thanks in advance

No it is not the place, but it's OK, we will move it, possibly to "Philco Home Radios" (we often discuss this in there).
Meantime...they are open, but sometimes they do run delays. Have you written/called them?

Thanks for the relocation and sorry for the error.
Yes - have called and emailed 3-4x and no response. IIRC when you order from their site, there is a pop-up that states something about the items being made to order and you need to check mark the pop up to acknowledge you understand this. Ok - thats understandable and not a problem - I make custom suspension parts with the same issue, but know its a 2-4 week delay. I am in no immediate hurry (and have told them I am not twisting arms) but there has to be at least a ballpark idea of how long. 3 months? 6 months? 10 years? In this day and age, businesses close every day - when they do not even acknowledge it, after months of holding your money, I have to wonder if they are out of business and need to retrieve my payment.
Thanks again for moving this.

Has your card (or what have you for payments) been charged?
I emailed back and forth with someone this last fall about a dial I was interested in; they did answer fairly fast.

Yes, I would recommend Mike also. Has good selection, and overall great guy.
But he still needs the dial and the lettering.

I emailed Radio Daze last Thursday and got a reply back the next day. Their lead time is 4-7 weeks. I would image they are quite busy. They have that check box so people are not bugging them as to where is my order. So your order is past that time so I would hope any day now you get your order.

I could be wrong but I believe that they have the decal sets in stock for 1937-38 model year Philcos, I didn't know that they sold grille cloth, I'm not sure why there would be almost a two month lead time with a 37-116 dial, it's not really a custom item, and was used om more then one model. is there a difference between the dial used on the deluxe verses the standard version without the teledial?
Regards
