Whos familiar with Telechron movements
#1

I had to disassemble a clock assembly to replace a broken gear and now when I get it back together I cannot get the radio/alarm/off/radio arm  shaft to stay on radio . Every time I turn it to the radio position it snaps back to the off position. It stays just fine in the radio/alarm position.

You could try telechronclock.com. They were helpful when I restored a Crosley clock radio.

I used a guy from eBay. For $50 he took apart, cleaned and re-assembled the whole thing.
Works like a charm.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

The clock is out of a Zenith L520. When I first tested it the switch for the radio alarm/off/radio worked just fine. I had to disassemble the mechanism in order to replace a broken gear. I finally got it back together and the clock works just fine. Its just that when I turn the switch to radio it snaps right bac k to the off position.

RodB, I didn't know there was telechron  forum. Thank you for the heads up on that and I will visit them for some help.

Hello Jim,
Yes, If I was home not in this rehab center I would get my Telechron parts diagram for this radios clock movement.
Sincerely Richard

Sorry for this late update. I bought another assembly to use for the motor and when I went to reassemble the it I put in the wrong shaft pieces. With the correct ones installed I have a working clock assembly.
