Look for the "Img" button icon above while composing your message. Then put the url of your image from your photo hosting site inside. Photobucket is one of several free image hosting sites. Photo hosting sites also have easy copy and paste image code links.

The "%20" in the fake link below is html speak for spaces.

Sounds like you have 80A Canadian similar to a 81, but the 80A doesn't have the compensating condensors. Four knobs in front of 81 and only two on 80A. both use 77 tubes and 80 uses 36s.

Perfect, thanks.

That is a Model 80, no question about it.

You cannot use a 77 tube in a 36 socket, or vice versa, because the two have different bases. A 36 has 5 pins while the 77 has 6.

Did you media blast that chassis? What kind of paint did you use on it?

Oh, and complete instructions for posting photos are here:

The paint is Rustolium ToolBox silver I removed all the Rust with Drumels Brush, Drill wire Brush. Covered the coils with toilet paper rolls (cut down the side fitted with tape) so they would not be damaged. The covers and shields have the Metal paint Rustolium. You can see how bad it was rusted. A mouse family used it as a bathroom for a few years. They now have many spotted paint colors. : Red, black, Green tool box
