Resistor error?
#1

Hi guys, I started digging into replacing caps and resistors on my Philco 18. One of the resistors to be replaced is in the schematic as being a .5Meg. The resistor in the chassis is a .1Meg. It does not appear to have been replaced at all previously. I did measure it and it is indeed within its specs. Should I leave it alone, replace what is there, or replace it with what the schematic calls for?

The resistor in question is part number 42 on the location layout, but it appears to be incorrectly labelled in the wire schematic as part 34. Any suggestions on what to do?

Upon further research I think I found my error. I should be using the Philco 18 schematics not the Philco 18 (code 124). Slight difference between the two.
