philco 16 code 125
#1

I don't have a variac so i wanted to check if a filter connection on my chaissis is correct before i change it and plug it in. There is a 10 Mf filter capacitor from the plug on the speaker closest to the metal floor of the chaissis with about 7 inches or so left to the other side of the chaissis , it is connected to the end tip of the voltage divider resistor ( no. 92 on nostalgia air schematic ) and also at that spot to the output transformer no. 87 , the negative side is connected to the resistor, output tranformer. I want to put a brand new 10 mfd filter capacitor on this spot . doe you think this part was wired correct in the past .

I suggest that you order the service package from Chuck at http://www.philcorepairbench.com/

It will make the entire project much easier.

Kind regards,
Terry
