Bakelite Block Question
#1

Hi Guys,

One quick question, is a bakelite block labeled 3903DDG the same as this configuration that I found online?

3903-DG 2 .01 .01

That's ODG ("oh-dee-gee"), and yes, same configuration. The 'O' simply means that this "universal style" block used hi-temp wax impregnation. See page 2-3 in "Philco Condensers and More," 2nd. edition by Ray Bintliff. Info on my bakelite block condenser page.

Thanks Chuck. Your site is always the first place I check. Appreciate the information.

If you have rust between the vanes, I wonder how you get the NJ in between, and how you then wipe it off.morzh — 12:02 PM
