Model #95-wire for tuning condenser control
#1

Hello
I have a model 95 that was missing the wire that controls the tuning condenser when I received it from a friend. What is involved in installing a control wire. I will be at Willowbrook for the radio fest. I am tempted to take it with me . Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Ron suggests black crochet twine from Walmart... I have used 'builders twine' available at Home Depot. It is white but you can color it if you want. My biggest problem was getting the tension tight enough. It has to be very tight to keep the cap from turning from its own weight. I used a faucet spring which is normally used in compression but was strong enough in tension to work well.

Kind regards,
Terry
