Identify this Emerson?
#1

Can anyone identify this Emerson radio. I'm thinking of buying it and need to know a little about it.

Thanks,
Eric

I think it's basically a typical post war, five tube, AC/DC set inside, I had an opportunity to buy one once but didn't think it was interesting enough, and sort of ugly. Whoever designed it didn't use much imagination compared to other plastic sets of the time, which was sort of odd for an Emerson. Even at that time I had to think of whether something was worth the money and shelf space.

Depends, If it is just the AMBC band then it is a 641 if it is AM and FM it's a different model.
