41-RP1 What??
#1

Hey all, Taking a break from all the sanding and stripping of my 41-608 I decided to re-cap and see if I could figure out my 41-RP1 wireless record player. It seems to be running smoothly but It doesn't seem to be transmitting anything. Could this be a problem with the 6A7 tube? Should it have an element light up inside of it? because it remains cold and dark inside of it while the only other tube is glowy and warm.

Also, quick question about #20 on the schematic attached, is this the capacitor in 'the bakelite housing' which I came across during my last re-capping?

The 6A7 is your oscillator tube, and should definately light up.
#3

Measures the resistance across the two fat pins on the 6A7. If open the tube is bad. #20 couples the output from the transmitter to the AC wiring in your house (antenna).
GL & Welcome!!

Thank you, will try that next. I'm cleaning it up an best I can now and hoping that the tube is the only problem.
Will report back!
