Philco 87 highboy owners
#1

Hi guys,I'm attempting to recreate the missing legs and base of a Model 87 Highboy-can some one measure the legs from the bottom of the leg to the bottom of the square top section of the leg?
Thanks!

Phil

It will depend on whether you have a Highboy (doors that open out) or a Highboy De Luxe (doors that slide). (I see the photo you linked to is the Highboy.)

Highboy - http://www.philcoradio.com/gallery/1929b.htm#d
Highboy De Luxe - http://www.philcoradio.com/gallery/1929c.htm#g

I do not own either one, but if it will help -

Overall height of the Highboy - 47-1/8"
Overall height of the Highboy De Luxe - 50-1/8"

Measure your cabinet body and then cut your legs long enough to make up the difference.

Sorry gents the 10 3/4 is for the lowboy!! Wasn't paying close attention and I always get confused on the high or lowboy cabinets. The 87 is one of my favorites!
