Moved the Zenith 9S-262 to the big room.
#1

yesterday I eventually moved the first radio out of my improvised workshop which is a small bedroom chokefull of radios....
Took it down the stairs and put it into the family room which is the largest space in the house - it takes 1/4th of the house footprint and the height is 1-1/2 store. A wasteful thing but the acoustics is good.

So I put the Z against the wall and this morning the local station was playing jazz...Nat Cole and such.

It sounds just great. Probably not the best sound around but sounds great, I loved it. It did not reveal itself in the small room, but in this one it just filled it with sound, and the volume did not have to be loud.

My 2-1/2 year old daughter came, and we danced together...she enjoyed it. My father was making photos.

Before I wrote this, an hour ago I also moved my 18 down there.
What can I say...between the Z and 18, Z has a better sound.
Can't wait 'till I assemble 37-116 and arrange for a bout between the two. I hope 37-116 wins.
