Anyone have one of these? The reason I ask is I have an original box for one of these small table model radios. I got a Fed Ex shipment of a Philco Transitone model 46-200 today, and had the eBay seller double box it, which he did and it got here in one piece. But the small box the radio itself was packed in was a shock... an original late 40's or early 50's RCA box!
Does anyone know what year this radio dates to? Here are some pics of the box:

That's pretty wild! Radiomuseum dates it around 1954:

Thanks for the info, John! Appreciate it. If you know of anyone who owns one of these and needs an original box to go along with their set, let me know.

Cute set, nice MCM look. With 6 tubes it would have picked up the Nuclear War message easily on the Conelrad Network. Bless the RCA Golden Throat. You know I joke but RCA had it figured out, many of these plastic little guys sound pretty good, better than a KMart special deaf as a post made in China special.
Hah!

I think it's a 1955 or 56 model, I repaired the Canadian version of one once in a pond scum green, it is a somewhat less then inspired design.
