Chassis support stand
#1

There has been much discussion about supporting a chassis during restoration. Just wanted too offer some pictures of one such stand we just built over the weekend. This can be done many ways but here goes. The stand can be raised to five different heights and rotated 360 degrees so you work on the top or bottom. Any size chassis can be attached depending on your mounting hardware and clamping devices.[Image: http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a508...121eb2.jpg] We built two of these for around $30.00 which includes all wood and hardware.

We just completed the restoration of a 37-116 using this stand and it made the handling of this monster so easy and at any angle we wanted it.[Image: http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a508...450207.jpg] so I know there are more ideas out there so lets hear about them.
