More projects that did not need
#1

Ran across a couple more projects yesterday.
Brought home a Philco 118x and an RCA 812k to play with.
Got them cheap, so I caved in and bought them.
The RCA chassis is similar to my 816k, which turned out good after a re-cap.
Just a few more tubes.
Wish me luck.

I keep saying I am going to stop, yet still keep finding that occasional 'must have' radio. What we need to do is: Lock ourselves in our homes and lock out Craigslist and eBay! Also, put all our money into a safe and WELD it shut! That might work. Icon_lol

No matter where you go, there you are.
