That may be difficult, it the knobs it uses are of the ship's wheel style. If those are the correct knobs they were also used on a post war Pilot TV. The good news is that you can buy reproductions of that style of knob, but they are not exactly cheap.

Thanks, Arran. It does have the "ship's wheel" style knob. The outer ones are correct. I will just need to find the 2 inside ones which my friend thinks he may have. We will see.

Thanks BrendaAnnD for the link! I will wait to get the radio back and compare the knobs. From the pics in the link it looks as if we may have a match (if my chassis expert doesn't have any in his collection). Thanks again. Much appreciated!

What is interesting is that this set is an AC/DC set with a combination of tubes in series-filament and parallel filament configuration.

I just picked up one of these Pilot H220 (Similar to Model 224)
I need Back Photo's and dimensions as mine is missing.
Radio Otherwise Complete. All Original Knobs. They are NOT the Ships Wheel Type as used on the TV.

Wow! A buddy in Wilmington just got a hold of the same set!!
If you want to see something interesting look at the schematic for this bear!
11 tubes plus ballast AC/DC set, FOUR 25L6 output tubes, and TWO 25Z6 rectifiers!
When you add up the total filament voltages, it is 180 volts, AND the 81973 ballast is rated at 47 volts at 300mA!!
Some serious parallel and series filament strings here!!!
