Philco 38-10
#1

Hey everyone.
Haven't posted much lately. this winter has been way too long and I am spending most of my time looking after my Mom. She has been steadily declining since my father passed away in December. Anyway, I brought home this little 38-10 today and thought I would share some pics.

Its ok I guess but if you get tired of looking at it just send it to me!

Taking care of a loved one is very mentally and physically exhausting, takes a lot of time and shows true caring and love. bravo

Sorry to hear about your Dad's passing and your Mom's health issues. The 38-10 looks to be a beauty! Enjoy.

Very sorry to hear about your mom's decline, Kevin. Sadly, that happens all too often when people who have been together for decades suddenly lose their spouse. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Funny thing, it must be 38-10 weekend in Southeastern Wisconsin! Icon_lol I was just going through mine as well yesterday. Finally got around to giving it the complete recap it needed. It seems this set is right at the tail end of the bakelite block era... there's just one lone one to re-stuff. Yours looks very nice. Especially the photo finish! Good find.

A sign of a d**n fine man is one who will take care of his mother.

That's a swell little set, very restore-able!!
