Finds inside radios?
#1

I stole this from someone else but like the topic.

What is the weirdest thing you have found inside a radio?

Mine was today, I found a philco Spartan hybrid???

I was cleaning out the cabinet of a Spartan console today and guess what!
I found a Philco 3903 Bakelite block inside???

Weird but true... Along with kids toys, a nail file, a chess king and crap all over.

I found three old style five dollar bills inside the chassis of a radio I got some years ago. Someone stashed it and must have forgotten about it.

Nothing terribly interesting so far, but I did find a purple crayon in the Philco 87. Interesting to think about, the kid who stuck it there is probably very elderly or dead.

I brought home an RCA K80 the other day...BIG console. Anyway, when I removed the chassis, there was about a cups worth of cat food underneath the chassis. I have no idea how it got between the chassis and the shelf that the chassis sat upon. I should have taken a picture, but I just tossed it all.

Found this small poster folded up inside an AirChief R-166 several years ago. Interesting. Know what it was about??? I found out.

Guess there wasn't anything better at a contest except for whatever won the blue ribbon.

Nothing too interesting so far. Some cat food was under the chassis of one console recently. Probably some mouse put it there?

Other than that just dust and dead bugs mostly

In a small Philco cathedral I found a deceased family of mice. The wife and daughter were not at all impressed with my find Icon_think

The mouse that I found was very much alive! He was released outside.

No animals were injured or killed in the process of this post.

I found a whole family of dust bunnies..........

I take it the mouse family died from the strong dislike of the broadcast content? It takes a very poisonous or extremely boring programming content to kill off all two generations.
I feel for them. I could totally relate to their situation.

Did you try reviving them?

You know a little mouth to snout

Poor little radio destroyers!
