The best reproduction cloth for the 90 right now is the Whiskey Rayon sold by Kenny Richmond:

Indeed,I compared it with the 90B photo you had provided and few other originals, and it is very close.

Kenny's cloth is great but I think that the radio daze one is better matched for that cloth. Both are too gold though. Need to tone them a bit before applying.

There is a post here on the forums about the grill cloth toning I did a month or 2 ago but where I posted it is a mystery to me. All I did was lay the cloth down and give her a light mist of perfect brown toner. It gave the look of the original bronze color
See the toned cloth in my Aircastle and the untoned same cloth in my 84 Times I have been electrocuted in 2021

Just got that cloth, looks nice. There are those 1/4" golden lines throughout the fabric.Which way is correct-vertical or horizontal? I went though the number of photos on the web, they appear to be either way.

I use spray paint to re-juvinate old cloth. Works very well.

I HAVE the new cloth, just do not know which way to put it with a reference to the short golden lines- vertically or otherwise.

Here are some pictures of a 91B which used the same pattern as your 90, you can see the orientation. [Image: http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae335...5_0650.jpg] [Image: http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae335...5_0651.jpg]

Not quite sure what you mean about the lines, but I consider the grille cloth shown in this auction to be oriented correctly:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Radio-Gr...27e4d7b1f1 In-other-words the top, as pictured, would be oriented at the top of the radio. I'm referencing what I consider to be an original piece of Philco 90 grille cloth: http://radio.macinmind.com/gallery/main....itemId=395 John KK4ZLF Lexington, KY "illegitimis non carborundum"

So, the lines are vertical. This is it. Thanks.
