I have a 42-360 That I have restored for a friend, the radio has been in her family for many years and she asked if it was possible to retro fit it so she can plug her Ipod/Iphone in to play music as there is not much on AM. The radio plays beautifully now after recapping and replacing one of the xxl tubes. There is no phono or tv output jack I can tie into so where do I go from here? Can it be done with out tearing up the radio or damaging her phone?
Forgot to add the schematic

Yes, plug the Ipod into a phono oscillator, or build one of those SSTRAN transmitter kits, then the radio can receive the music through the radio, without hacking in an input jack.

Bought a cheap AM Broadcast kit from Ramsey Electronics, put it together and am very happy and impressed with it. Glad I did not butcher the circuit to try and do this!
