Mystery radio, who can identify?
#1

Brought this home today and it has no id on it what so ever.
Probably removed when someone refinished it.
Has a really cool dial.
# tubes on the right of the chassis picture are an 80 and 2 6f6 tubes. There is a 75 on the right too with 2 ,76's next to it.
Anyone know what this is?

whats with the spam on photo bucket?
#3

Photobucket is getting more aggressive with the advertising, I think. Icon_thumbdown I've noticed lately that I get unwanted popup ads when I go there, where I did not previously.

Murf, might this help?

Looks like it may be a Triangle Electronics Co. Radio.
They made very few radio's in the 30's.
i have not found any info on the 10 tube console at all.
I would like to re-cap it, but the cans are not labeled and I cannot find a schematic.
Help guy's.

Radiomuseum's database tells me there are a few Silvertones with similar tube sets, but they have 7 tubes.
Maybe start from there to find similarities?

Whatever it is, what a cool-looking console!
I really like that dial, and the cabinet ain't bad, either.

Here's a link to a Silver Marshall with the same Saturn, Propeller, and Wings logo on the dial:

It's not how bad you mess up, it's how well you can recover.

Got it re-capped now and it plays great.
Very sensitive reception and plays loud and clear.
Very happy with it.
Re-finish turned out nice too.
